Driver In Critical Condition After Crash With Princeton Resident: PD

PRINCETON, NJ — A Trenton resident was seriously injured after their car struck another vehicle driven by a Princeton resident on Monday evening, West Windsor police said.

The Princeton resident suffered minor injuries, police said.

On Monday, at 4:40 pm West Windsor police traffic unit was dispatched to the Quakerbridge Road Overpass on Route 1. On arrival, officers found a Trenton resident suffering severe head injuries and a Princeton resident with minor injuries.

According to initial investigation, the vehicle driven by the Trenton resident lost control exiting off the ramp from Route 1 North to Quakerbridge Road westbound. The vehicle went over the curbed median and struck the vehicle which was driven by the Princeton resident, traveling eastbound on Quakerbridge Road.

The Trenton resident was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where they were listed in critical condition with serious life-threatening injuries.
