DWI Accident With Injury, 2 Warrants For The Price Of 1 Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton Police release their activity report.

The following information was provided by Princeton Police:

During the overnight hours between Sept. 7 and Sept. 8, several itemse were taken from an unlocked vehicle on the first block of Fisher Avenue by an unknown person. The investigation was turned over the Detective Bureau for further investigation.

Carolyn Steber, 29, of Roebling, was arrested on an active warrant issued by the Princeton Municipal Court following a traffic stop for driving an unregistered vehicle on Spruce Street on Sept. 9 at 10:53 p.m. Steber was transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and released after posting $279 bail.

When 32-year-old Jay Outhier, of Princeton, came to bail Steber out, he was found to have an active warrant issued by the Highland Park Municipal Court. His bail was set at $89, and he was processed and released with a pending court date.

Eliseo Cruz, 26, of New Brunswick, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he hit a utility pole on Stockton Street on Sept. 10 at 3:30 a.m. He injured his lower leg as a result of the accident, and was transported to Capital Health Center-Hopewell for treatment. Cruz was issued summonses and released with a pending court date.

Phillip Miller, 42, of Lumberton, was found to have two active warrants for his arrest issued by the Bordentown Township Municipal Court following a random plate inquiry on Alexander Street on Sept. 11 at 10:49 p.m. Miller was arrested on the active warrants and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released after posting $1,000 bail.

A woman has reported that an unknown person wrote two fraudulent checks in her name using her checking account. The investigation was turned over the Detective Bureau for further investigation.

Between Sept. 1 and Sept. 10, an unknown person stole the front license plate off a car while it was parked on the 300 block of North Harrison Street.

Sometime between 7 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 12, unknown actor(s) damaged two vinyl campaign signs that were placed at a home on the first block of Hawthorne Avenue.
