DWI Arrest, Car With Keys Inside Stolen In Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ — A car theft, DWI arrest, warrant arrest, and criminal mischief were reported recently in Princeton.

Princeton Police Blotter:

On Dec. 31 at 5:30 p.m.: Patrols responded to a report of a past-tense motor vehicle theft from the area of John Street near Mary Moss Park. The victim reported that her vehicle had been taken while parked with the keys left inside. The vehicle was later located in Pennsylvania using a tracking application. No damage or theft from thevehicle was reported.

On Jan. 3 at 12:39 a.m.: Patrols responded to a home on Constitution Hill East for a report of a suspicious person. The resident reported an unknown man at her front door, stating that a woman inside his vehicle claimed to live at the home. Officers arrived and made contact with the man and the woman seated in a vehicle outside of the home. The on-scene investigation determined thatthe woman, Constance Gibbons, age 73, did not live at the location. A warrant check revealed Gibbons had an active Princeton Municipal Court warrant for $4,500. She was taken into custody and taken to police headquartersfor processing, then released on her own recognizance with a new court date.

On Jan. 4 at 12:26 p.m.: Patrols responded to a residence on Laurel Road for a report of criminal mischief. The resident reported returning home and finding eggs thrown on his driveway, vehicle, garage, and the exterior of the residence. The incident occurred sometime between around 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 and 12:20 p.m. on Jan. 4. No suspects were observed, and the estimated value of damage was undetermined at the time of the report.
