DWI, Warrant Arrests Reported In Princeton

Princeton Police released the blotter for the past week.

PRINCETON, NJ — Arrests for driving while intoxicated and outstanding warrants were made this past week in Princeton.

On March 20 at 1:22 a.m.: Subsequent to a report of a two-car motor vehicle crash on Hamilton Avenue, the driver of one of the vehicles involved, Gary Everett, 48, of Middleburg, FL, was found to have operated his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Everett was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Everett was later released from police custody.

On March 20 at 7:15 p.m.: Arnulfo Bautista-Cruz, 51, of Princeton, was arrested on an NCIC Warrant out of Princeton Municipal Court. Bautista-Cruz was taken to police headquarters, processed accordingly, and later turned over to officers from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office for transport to the Mercer County Correctional Center.

On March 24 at 8:52 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, the driver, Richard Vernon, 48, of Trenton, was found to have three active ATS warrants in his name totaling $3,050. Vernon was arrested, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Vernon was unable to post bail at the time of processing, therefore he was turned over to officers from the Ewing Township Police Department.
