DWI, Warrant Arrests Reported In Princeton

The Princeton police blotter dated April 2 had the following reports:

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police released the blotter for the past week.

On March 31 at 9:55 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Road for speeding, the driver, Iesha Smalls, 25, of Trenton, was found to have an active warrant out of Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $25,000. Smalls was arrested, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Smalls was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.

On April 1 at 1:04 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on North Harrison Street for disregarding a stop sign, the driver, Kyle Gadekar, 43, of Seattle, WA, was found to have operated his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. During the motor vehicle stop an open container of alcohol was observed. Gadekar was placed under arrest, charged with driving while intoxicated and open container, and taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Gadekar was later released from police custody.

On April 2 at 12:24 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Street for speeding, the driver, Edward Coplin, 22, of Princeton, was found to have operated his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Coplin was placed under arrest, charged with driving while intoxicate, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Coplin was later released from police custody.
