Emergency Repairs To Mercer Road Bridge Postponed

Repairs had been scheduled to begin on Sept. 23 but are now postponed due to a conflict with utility relocation work: Mercer County.

PRINCETON, NJ — Emergency repairs that had been set to being on the Mercer Road bridge over Stony Brook in Princeton have been postponed, Mercer County announced Thursday.

Repairs had been scheduled to begin on Sept. 23 but are now postponed due to a conflict with utility relocation work in connection with the Alexander Street bridge project scheduled to begin in early November, according to the county.

A new start date has not yet been announced as of Sept. 12.

Construction — when it begins — will take about 15 days to complete on the bridge located between Quaker Road and Province Line Road.
