Here Are The Upcoming COVID Vaccine Clinics In Mercer County

COVID-19 vaccine including booster shots will be available at all clinics.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The County will be hosting a number of COVID-19 vaccine clinics through the month of December, announced Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes.

These clinics are being held in partnership with Capital Health. Vaccinations are free, regardless of immigration or insurance status.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 30, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 7, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, including booster shots, are available at all clinics.

In New Jersey, about 29 percent of residents who are eligible for a booster shot have received one, and New Jersey Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said that number has to increase.

"Increasing boosters is vital to blunting the impact of this and any other new variant that may occur," Persichilli said on Monday.

On Sunday, Gov. Phil Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy and three of their four children received booster shots of the coronavirus vaccine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Read More Here: Gov. Murphy, His Wife And 3 Children All Get Booster Shots

As of Monday, more than 6.1 million New Jersey residents had been vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to the state Department of Health. More than 100,000 children ages 5 to 11 have been vaccinated.
