How Much Princeton Households Make Per Year: New Census Report

See where Princeton ranks in Mercer County and in New Jersey by comparing town-by-town data.

PRINCETON, NJ — It's no secret New Jersey is well off, but how is Mercer County ranking and more specifically how is Princeton ranking?

For those who can never stop comparing, or those who like to "keep up with the Joneses", the Census just released updated numbers.

The 2013-2017 American Community Survey issued by the Census last week disclosed a mountain of data, including how much household income is reported in each New Jersey community.

Cost of living aside, New Jersey appears to be better off than much of the country. The statewide median household income is $76,475, far surpassing the nationwide median of $57,652.

Princeton was ranked as the fourth wealthiest in Mercer County with a median household income of $125,506and ranked No. 83 across the Garden State.
