Lewdness, Vehicle Burglary: Princeton Police Blotter

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police blotter dated March 20 had the following reports:

On March 15, 11:53 a.m., the manager of a retail store told police that a man left the store without paying for items totaling $26. The man, a 50-year-old Flint, MI resident, was located by patrol a few minutes later and taken into custody. He was taken to police headquarters where he was processed, charged accordingly and released with a court date.

March. 15, 12:33 a.m. police responded to a call of a vehicle parked on the northbound shoulder of Stockton Street (Rt. 206). The driver, a 21-year-old Lawrenceville resident, was found to be asleep in the vehicle and was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. The man was taken to police headquarters where he was processed, charged accordingly and released to a sober adult.

On March 15, at 7:04 p.m. a woman told police that her silver Apple Macbook Pro 13" valued at around $400 was stolen sometime during her shift at her workplace in Nassau Street. The hours were between 5 p.m. hours and 6:45 p.m. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On March15, 5:25 p.m.policer were informed that between March 14 at 11:00 a.m. and March 15 at 10 a.m., an unknown suspect cut and removed the catalytic converter of a Honda Accord while it was parked at a driveway on North Harrison Street. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On March 16, 3:21 p.m., a woman reported that an unknown man exposed his penis to her for approximately 3 minutes while she was seated inside an establishment on Witherspoon Street. The man fled the area on foot, south towards Spring St. where the woman lost sight of him. Patrols checked the area but were unable to locate the individual. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On March 16,12:30 p.m., subsequent to an investigation on Nassau Street, video surveillance footage was obtained that showed an unknown man enter a 2009 Audi that was parked in a parking stall located in the rear of the establishment, without consent to do so. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
