Man Caught On Video Trying To Break Into Princeton Car

The man could not get into the locked SUV. 3 other unlocked vehicles were also burglarized in the same area over the weekend, police report.

PRINCETON, NJ — A man was caught on video trying to break into a locked SUV. Three other unlocked vehicles were also burglarized over the weekend in Princeton, police report.

The burglaries were reported in the neighborhood on the northeast side of town in the area of Herrontown Road and River Road, Princeton Police report.

Three unlocked vehicles were burglarized, a fourth vehicle that was locked was not burglarized.

A suspect, caught on video trying to break into the locked car, is described as a black man, 35 to 45 years old, bald, heavy build, about 6-foot-tall, wearing dark colored sweat pants and a black and silver football jersey bearing the #24 on both sides and the name "Lynch" across the back, police said.

"Please remember to lock the doors of your home and vehicles and to call police when you hear or see suspicious activity in your neighborhood," police said.
