Man Crawled Through Window As Residents Slept: Princeton PD

The man is also wanted in connection with trying to burglarize another home on the same street on the same night, police report.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police are searching for a man wanted for crawling through a window and burglarizing a town home and trying to burglarize another home over the weekend.

Both burglaries were reports on Saturday, April 6 at around 3 a.m. in the Ettl Farm Rosedale Road area of town, Princeton Police report.

The first was reported by an Ettl Circle resident who said someone entered their home through an unlocked back window while the residents were asleep on the second floor.

Surveillance footage showed that a man entered the home at 3:09 a.m. He is described as about 5'8" to 5'10'' tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, jeans and a hood/mask over his face, police report.

No items were reported missing at that time.

The second burglary was reported after a surveillance footage also caught a man — matching the same description in the earlier burglary — trying to enter the Ettl Circle's home at 3:08 a.m., police report.

The man could not get inside the home, police report.

Detectives are currently investigating several leads and police have also canvassed the the area.
