PRINCETON, NJ — Authorities are asking the public for help in identifying a man wanted for defrauding a Princeton store out of thousands of dollars in March.

The man is described by proprietors as Indian or Pakistani with a beard, average height and weight and drives a white Buick SUV, Princeton Police report.

On March 24, the man, claiming to be "Ben Epstein," returned $1,280 worth of clothing to Orvis clothing store in Princeton.

The items were found to have been previously purchased with several fake gift cards from an Orvis located in Marlton, police said.

After returning the clothing, the man was given six actual gift cards. He then bought more clothes worth $1,400 at the Princeton location using another set of gift cards that were later found to be fake, police report.
