Two police officers entered into the water and searched the area where Page’s friend reported seeing him enter the water, police said. The officers saw bubbles come to the surface as the third officer probed the area with a pole from the dock. One of the officers went underwater, found Page, grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to the surface.

All three officers and Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad members then put him on the dock and immediately began CPR at 3:03 p.m. He was then taken to a local hospital, where despite the efforts of all involved at the scene and the efforts of the medical staff, the victim was pronounced deceased at 3:54 p.m.
