Milling Work To Begin On Cherry Valley Road

Roadway milling and retaining wall construction work on Cherry Valley Road will continue through next week in Princeton.

PRINCETON, NJ — Construction on Cherry Valley Road will continue through next week in Princeton. Work will be done on Thursday, July 25, Friday, July 26 and during the week of July 29. Here is a look at what will be done:

The last retaining wall on the south side of the road near Jefferson’s Curve will be completed along with roadway milling to begin on Thursday.

No traffic will be allowed through the intersection of Cherry Hill Road (north-south) between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Instead a detour will be set up on Ridgeview Road and Great Road. Residents can get through from the east end of the project.

The retaining wall and milling work is expected to take one week, weather permitting. The intersection will be reopened at the end of each work day.

The entire project is expected to be completed before Labor Day 2019.
