New Traffic Pattern, Removal Of Parking Space: Princeton Traffic

The use of the lanes at the intersection of Valley Road and North Harrison Street has changed.

PRINCETON, NJ - With ongoing construction work in the Municipality, residents are now used to changing traffic patterns.

There's another change recently introduced at Princeton Shopping Center. The use of the lanes at the intersection of Valley Road and North Harrison Street has changed. The left lanes on Valley Road and exiting Princeton Shopping Center are now left turn only.

The right lanes are now designated for right turns and straight-through travel. New signs have already been installed and an advance warning sign that traffic patterns have changed has been placed on Valley Road.

Meanwhile, a parking space on Nassau Street in front of Starbucks and Hamilton Jewelers will be removed next week.

While reviewing parking and loading requirements in anticipation of the completion of the Witherspoon Street Improvements Project, the Engineering Department discovered that the parking space is within a loading zone designated by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
