• Major NJ Pharmaceutical Company Lays Off Hundreds (patch.com) — Hundreds of jobs are being cut at Bristol Myers Squibb's Princeton operations, as part of a broader restructuring that has eliminated more than 1,700 New Jersey positions since early 2025. The company, which maintains major facilities in nearby Lawrenceville, says the reductions support a multiyear cost‑saving plan while it continues investing in drug development, and affected workers are covered by federal and New Jersey WARN requirements.
   

• Princeton Residents Press Council For Traffic Fixes At Intersection After Crashes (patch.com) — Princeton residents are urging council members to move faster on safety fixes at the Hamilton Avenue and Linden Lane intersection, where they say frequent crashes and speeding endanger families and children. After hearing detailed accounts from neighbors and traffic data from police, council members acknowledged the problem and said engineering staff are preparing recommendations, while some officials pressed to prioritize speed tables and other traffic‑calming measures.
