Poll Workers Needed For General Election In Mercer County

The upcoming general election in New Jersey is set for Nov. 8.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Officials in Mercer County are calling on residents to serve as poll workers for the next general election.

Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello has reminded residents that the state has increased the rate of pay for election workers from $200 per day to $300 per day.

In July, Gov. Phil Murphy signed legislation amending existing law to allow minors between the ages of 16 and 18 to work a full day at the polls on election days.
