PRIDE Dance Party

The Arts Council of Princeton announces a Pride Dance Party in conjunction with Princeton's first-ever Pride Parade.

Princeton, NJ – May 30, 2019 – The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) announces a Pride Dance Party in conjunction with Princeton’s first-ever Pride Parade, coordinated by the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice (BRCSJ). The ACP’s Solley Theater will transform into a Pride dance party with tunes, snacks, and best of all, a celebration of community! Special guests will include Mike Hot Pence and Miss Gay NJ Lady Victoria Courtez. Shimmy, shake, and show your pride!

“The Arts Council is proud to host an inclusive event celebrating our area’s diverse community”, says ACP Executive Director Jim Levine. “All are welcome to join us and kick off the Parade weekend!”

"The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is truly inspired by and grateful for the extraordinary response from the community about our Pride Parade," shared BRCSJ Chief Activist Robt Seda-Schreiber, "We are thrilled to partner with our friends at the Arts Council to throw this fabulous bit of booty-shaking to start the festivities on the good foot. Our boots on the ground this evening will be platform heels on the dance-floor!"
