Princeton-Blairstown Center Elects Claudia Franco Kelly to Board of Trustees

PRINCETON, NJ, September 26, 2018 – The Princeton-Blairstown Center (PBC) recently elected Claudia Franco Kelly as a new Trustee. PBC’s Board of Trustees is a highly-committed group of individuals, from diverse backgrounds, responsible for setting policy and overseeing the organization's fiduciary commitments.
A resident of Princeton, NJ, Claudia spent over 35 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her last position was Deputy Chief Operating Officer in the Supervision Group. This role involved leading work in risk management, compliance, process improvement, quality assurance, conflicts of interest, and business continuity.
During her professional career, Claudia voluntarily led the Women’s Resource Network in multiple capacities for close to ten years. In addition to her service to PBC, Claudia is currently a volunteer at the Food Pantry at Homefront, as well as serving on their Audit and Risk Management Committee.

She was a member of the Wall Street Women’s Alliance, a group of corporate network leaders who met to improve the quality and effectiveness of their respective network programs. Additionally, she participated in corporate community service days at God’s Love We Deliver, Governor’s Island clean-up (NYC) and efforts to rebuild communities destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
Claudia received an MBA and BS in Business from Pace University. She has also completed training in business process improvement and excellence.

PBC’s President & CEO, Pam Gregory said, “Claudia is an experienced and proven leader, who has managed many projects and held many roles during her time at the Federal Reserve Bank. Her experience and recent completion of the Volunteer Connect (Princeton, NJ) Board Training Program makes her an exceptional addition to our board.”

The Princeton-Blairstown Center is an independent nonprofit with a mission to empower young people, primarily from under-resourced communities, to strengthen their social-emotional skills through experiential, environmental, and adventure-based programming. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) includes five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Our wide variety of year-round, multi-service programs serve nearly 8,000 participants each year.
