Princeton Names New Animal Control Officer
Nate Barson assumes the position previously held by Mark Johnson.

Nate Barson is replacing Mark Johnson as the Animal Control Officer in Princeton, Planet Princeton reports.
Barson, who assumed his new position on July 8, was introduced during Monday night’s council meeting, according to the report.
The Princeton Health Officer will supervise Barson, according to the report.The Animal Control Officer had fallen under the supervision of the police department.

Johnson and the town parted ways in March, n the wake of the revelation that 400 rabies vaccines provided to the town by the state were unaccounted for.
For an unknown reason, the proper paperwork was not filed by Princeton with the state in 2013 and 2014. The state requires paperwork to be filed after each vaccination, and unused vaccines are to be returned to the state within 10 days, according to the report.
