Princeton Photo Workshop: The Lower Manhattan Cityscape

We'll meet at the Jersey City Ferry Dock and hop on the ferry for a short ride to the World Financial Center in Downtown Manhattan. From the ferry we’ll have views of Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, Manhattan’s skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. After docking, we’ll make our way along the East River walkway to Battery Park, shooting images and talking photography along the way. From there, we’ll travel along the Hudson River Esplanade, heading up to the World Trade Center’s Memorial Pools. As we proceed and the light changes, we'll talk about composition and camera settings under different conditions. On the return ferry ride we will have an opportunity to make night images of the Hudson River and the New York skyline.
