Princeton Warming Centers Open Amid Frigid Temperatures: See Where
Due to the expected cold weather, Warming Centers will be available for anyone who needs a safe, warm place to go.
PRINCETON, NJ — Frigid temperatures have prompted Princeton to open several warming centers.
Warming Centers will be available for anyone who needs a safe, warm place to go through Sunday, Feb. 1.

- Monument Hall – Main Meeting Room (1 Monument Drive)
- Wednesday, January 28 – Friday, January 30 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Princeton Public Library (65 Witherspoon Street)
- Wednesday, January 28 – Thursday, January 29 | 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday, January 30 & Saturday, January 31 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday, February 1 | 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Princeton Police are also asking residents to check on neighbors who may be at higher risk of cold-related illness (especially those age 65+), wear layered clothing, and limit outdoor activity when possible.

A Cold Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect for Princeton through 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 20. Wind chill values as low as -10. North wind around 5 mph.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7. Wind chill values as low as -7. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 11.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 31.
