Rash Of Car Burglaries Reported In Princeton
Police are reminding residents to lock their doors as car and home burglaries have been reported recently in Princeton.

PRINCETON, NJ — A rash of car burglaries has been reported recently in Princeton and police are warning locals to be vigilant.
"Please LOCK your doors, remove or hide your belongings and take your car keys or key fobs with you. Not doing so just makes things very easy for thieves who rely on opportunity to commit criminal acts," Princeton Police reported.
Two cars were recently burglarized while parked at the Community Village.

A victim reported her vehicle was unlawfully entered between Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. and Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. Someone took possession of several items belonging to the victim valued at $35.
Another victim reported her vehicle was unlawfully entered between Dec. 3 at 11 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 8 a.m. Someone stole the victim’s wallet containing cash and various documents.

A home was also burglarized during the evening of Dec. 3. The victim reported got inside by breaking a window on the second floor of his Cleveland Lane home. It is unknown at this time what items may have been taken.
Police are asking residents to report any suspicious activity to Princeton Police by calling 609-921-2100 immediately upon noticing. Residents are also asked to check their cars and homes every night before going to bed.
