Simple Assault, DUI: Princeton Police Blotter

A Lawrenceville resident was issued summons for assault after reportedly punching another person several times, police said.

PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Police blotter dated June 26, had the following reports:

On June 22 at 10:05 p.m., following a motor vehicle stop on Wiggins Street, a 35-year-old Princeton resident was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken to Princeton Police Department Headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.

On June 24, 1:54 a.m., during a verbal dispute on Griggs Drive a 24-year-old Lawrenceville resident punched another person several times in the face, police said. The accused was issued a summons for the assault.

On June 24, 12:09 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop on Paul Robeson Place, a 32-year-old Princeton driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to PPD Headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.
