Teen Seriously Injured In NJ Hit-And-Run: Police

The teen was taken to Capital Health Hospital – Fuld, with serious injuries, police said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 17-year-old was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 33 on Sunday, Hamilton police said.

On Sunday, Dec. 5, around 2:17 a.m., the teen was walking west on Route 33 in the area of Weston Avenue, when he was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene, police said. The teen was taken to Captial Health Hospital – Fuld with serious injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released.

Authorities describe the vehicle as a dark-colored Ford Mustang with damage to the windshield, front grill, and passenger side headlight area.
