A trapped woman was killed this week after her car crashed into a tractor-trailer, caught fire and was dragged by the truck, police said.
The crash occurred at 2:07 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 129 and Hamilton Avenue in Trenton, nj.com said. The tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Route 129 when it crashed into a vehicle driving west on Hamilton Avenue.
The car became stuck under the tractor-trailer and was dragged before it caught on fire, according to the report. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after the fire erupted, police said.

Trenton Police Detective Craig Kirk and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the incident, according to The Trentonian. No further details were available.
