Upcoming Road Closures, Traffic Diversions In Princeton This Week
With ongoing work on Witherspoon Street, here are the upcoming road closures and traffic diversions:
PRINCETON, NJ — Work on Witherspoon Street is ongoing and there’s a flurry of activity in the neighborhood, with street closures and traffic diversions.
The Earle Asphalt Company will begin site preparation this week. They will conduct a video inspection of the existing sanitary main and laterals along Witherspoon Street on Thursday and Friday, police said. Test pits on Hulfish Street, Spring Street and Witherspoon Street will be performed those same days.
On Thursday, Hulfish Street from Witherspoon Street to Palmer Square East will be closed to perform test pits. Traffic will be diverted to Paul Robeson Place/Wiggins Street.

On Friday, Spring Street from Hulfish Street to South Tulane Street will be closed. Spring Street Parking Garage access will be available from Wiggins Street via Sylvia Beach Way. Parking is free up to 30 minutes.
Witherspoon Street will have a single lane closing on both Thursday and Friday. An alternating traffic pattern with flaggers will be in place on both days.
