This Week's Traffic & Road Construction Updates In Princeton

Here's a handy guide to contruction work happening in Princeton this week:

PRINCETON, NJ — Concrete barriers have been installed on Witherspoon Street between Nassau Street and Spring Street. Drivers should be cautious on the road and follow the 25 MPH speed limit There's a STOP sign at Spring Street.

Concrete barriers have been relocated to close the west side of Witherspoon Street. Demolition and construction of the roadway and sidewalk on the west side and installation of stormwater utilities will continue this week. Work is scheduled to continue through early October. There will be a 4-5 foot walking path nearest the frontage of the businesses for pedestrians.

  • Witherspoon Street is open to traffic traveling northbound. Stopping, standing or loading is not allowed in the travel lane. Parking is not available between Nassau Street and Spring Street during construction.
  • Palmer Square, Spring Street Parking Garage, Hulfish Parking Garage and the Griggs Corner Lot will be open and accessible.
