HAVE FUN · STAY SAFE! REMOTE PHOTO CAMP for TEENS

"I can't tell you how happy I am to have my teen son so enthusiastic, inspired and engaged in photography - it's fabulous!" - Louise

July 6 - July 10, 2020 · August 10 - August 14, 2020

Here at Princeton Photo Workshop, we're responding to this uncertain time with ingenious, imaginative and creative new programs to deliver the learning, excitement and summer fun that defines the Photo Camp experience. With the uncertainty that we could safely gather face-to-face over the next months, and with many of our venues, including our classroom, closed until at least September, we'll be coming together face-to-screen-to-face at Camp this summer via Zoom.

Each morning, your child will.. 1) wake up, 2) brush hair, put on clothes (because we will see you!), 3) click the Zoom link to show up at Camp.

Camp will start at 10:00 am and continue for 4-5+ hours. We’ll learn the basics of taking better pictures, including camera settings, composition and using light to capture the image you envision. After a break for lunch, we’ll learn how to use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom to download, edit, organize and creatively process our photos. (7-day free trial available*).

But Camp won't be over when we log off each day; at the end of our virtual day together, Campers will be assigned to complete ingenious photo exercises that coax them to explore further. Each day, Campers will complete their assignments, edit them with their newly acquired skills, select one or two favorites, and send them to us for the Photo Review the following day.

The good news is that we'll be introducing NEW EXPERIENCES we never even considered in past years, including VIRTUAL PORTRAITS with Frank Veronsky, ABSTRACT ART PHOTOGRAPHY and an exploration of science-fiction-like worlds with renowned MACRO PHOTOGRAPHER DON KOMARECHKA, direct from his home in Barrie, Ontario.

We anticipate a really fun and entirely new Camp adventure.
