Woman Assaults Mom Holding Infant At Windsor Hotel: Police
Shawnda L. Leander-Lewis, 36, of East Windsor was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child, said police.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — A woman who was holding her infant reported being assaulted by another woman at the Windsor Hotel.
On April 18 at 9:16 p.m., East Windsor Patrol Officer Mark O'Brien went to the hotel at 460 Route 33 East for the report of a disturbance.
The victim said she had an argument with a woman who assaulted her while she was holding her infant, according to the East Windsor Police blotter.

An investigation found that the suspect hit the victim in the back of her head in the lobby of the hotel.
The suspect, identified as Shawnda L. Leander-Lewis, 36, of East Windsor, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, and charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

She was later taken to Mercer County Corrections.
