• Rahway's $79.8 Municipal Budget Has Shared Service Surplus, Library Tax Increase (tapinto.net) — Rahway's newly approved $79.8 million 2026 municipal budget is now in effect, raising the average homeowner's taxes by about $84 while boosting surplus and library funding. Officials say state-required accounting changes for shared services didn't alter tax rates, and the city also secured extra state aid plus an emergency fund for police and firefighter retirements.
