Ramsey Community School's Summer Camps!

The Ramsey Community School’s Youth & Children’s Programs office is accepting registrations for summer camps. Two camp experiences are available both for Ramsey district students as well as out-of-district students.

Summer Sensations is a morning enrichment program designed for children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the upcoming school year. Workshops are designed to stimulate creative thinking while integrating reading, math, science, computer, music, art, and other skills. Children will build skills and explore their special interests in workshops of their choice, designed and taught by teaching professionals. Workshops such as Masterpiece Art Studio, the Great Rock Detectives, Party Plan-it and MusicStart® are just a few of the exciting offerings that make learning fun! Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., five days per week. Summer Sensations offers three, 1 week sessions starting July 6th and ending July 24th at Tisdale School in Ramsey.

***NEW this year… We are excited to announce that the Ramsey Community School will be offering a Summer Ramsey Extended Day (RED) program for summer 2015! RCS is extending the Ramsey Extended Day program to continue in July for grades K – 5. The program will run at Tisdale School and be very similar to the RED program that runs during the school year, with a before care option as well as after camp option. The program runs from July 6 – 24.

Summer Vibrations is a three-week, multi-faceted performance camp for children entering 5th through 8th grades in the upcoming school year. There are two components to choose from, instrumental music or theater arts! The theater arts component offers acting lessons, a set design/building elective, and an acting ensemble that will perform “The Seussical Experience”. Vibrations’ unique format enables your child to participate in an overall performance experience which includes instrument or acting lessons, electives, performance ensembles, and weekly Master Forums. Classes are taught by a variety of professionals – certified music teachers, post-graduate teachers, and touring professionals who are versed in jazz, rock, and classical music as well as the integration of music and technology. Camp runs from July 6th – 24th, 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., five days per week at Smith School in Ramsey. Register now, electives such as Red Hot Blues Band, Sibelius Cyber Suite, and iBand fill quickly!
