Ramsey Woman, 2 Others Die In Opioid Overdoses: Prosecutor
Five people, including two in Fair Lawn, were saved using Narcan, authorities said.

RAMSEY, N.J. — A woman died after an opioid overdose in Ramsey recently, one of three people to do so in the first week of the new year, information released by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office shows.
A 23-year-old man in Moonachie and a 30-year-old man in Rochelle Park were the other people who died, the prosecutor's office said. Five people, including two in Fair Lawn, were saved using Narcan, a drug law enforcement designed to counteract the effects of heroin and other opioid-based drugs.
The office released the information as part of its campaign to highlight the scope of the heroin epidemic plaguing Bergen County.

The office posts on Twitter when and where people overdose on opioids, including heroin, and when they die or if law enforcement officers save their lives.
