Morris Co. Task Force Seizes Cash, Cocaine, Bullets In Bust: Cops

The Parsippany Troy-Hills resident was arrested during a operation conducted by the Narcotics Task Force​ of Morris County.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Parsippany Troy-Hills man was arrested on Tuesday with 250 grams of cocaine and a loaded handgun, during an operation conducted by the Narcotics Task Force of Morris County, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

The man, Jeremy Mayes, 30, also had over $9,000 in cash, hollow-point bullets, two high capacity magazines, and drug distribution paraphernalia, the Prosecutor's Office said.

Mayes faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to fistribute, in a quantity greater than five ounces, possession of a firearm (a .9mm handgun) with a loaded magazine, while in the course of distributing a controlled dangerous substance, and financial facilitation of criminal activity (money laundering).
