2015 Thanksgiving and Christmas Assistance Sign-ups

The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps annually offers Thanksgiving and Christmas Assistance to households in need. These are the dates to register for such assistance, as no future dates will be offered. Residents of the following areas, needing the assistance, are encouraged to register for the help, as long as they are not registering for holiday asssitance with any other agencies, social service organizations or churches. The service areas are exclusively:

Atlantic Highlands, Belford, Colts Neck, Eatontown, Fair Haven, Fort Monmouth, Highlands, Keansburg, Leonardo, Lincroft, Little Silver, Locust, Middletown, Monmouth Beach, Navesink, New Monmouth, Oceanport, Port Monmouth, Red Bank, Rumson, Sea Bright, Shrewsbury, and Tinton Falls.

The 2015 Sign-Up Dates are:

• October 13, 15, 19, and 20 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
• October 9 and 16 from 1 PM – 7 PM

You cannot register for another household: each household must register for itself. Only parents, or court appointed guardians can register children. The following documents are REQUIRED to register:

• Photo Identification Card (licenses, State ID or passport)
• Birth certificate for each child you will be registering
• Proof of income for all the adults in the household
• Rent receipt/lease or current utility bill as proof of address
• Correct clothing sizes for children (17 and under)
• Two toy requests per child 17 and under (toys must be $35.00 or under)

Anyone coming to register without the necessary documents will be turned away, so please come prepared to The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps located at 180 Newman Springs Road, Red Bank, NJ 07701.

You may not apply if you are already receiving or plan on receiving holiday assistance from another organization or agency. Please call 732 747-1626 after October 1st if you have any questions.
