Have you heard of the Raw Food movement? A raw diet consists of unprocessed, raw plant foods that haven’t been heated above 118 degrees, the belief that doing so destroys the nutrients and enzymes in the food. Many people “go raw” for a number of reasons, from weight loss to achieving higher energy levels to detoxing or just for overall health.
