Monmouth Civic Chorus December 2015 Concert - Joy to the World

The sounds of Christmas will fill the air when the award-winning Monmouth Civic Chorus performs Joy to the World on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at the historic Count Basie Theatre, 99 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, New Jersey. The chorus and orchestra will premiere a new Christmas Suite by Artistic Director Dr. Ryan James Brandau, featuring his own arrangements of holiday favorites. Classical selections from Handel’s beloved Messiah and Bach’s magnificent Mass in B Minor will round out the program. For many music lovers, it won’t be Christmas without it.

The Monmouth Civic Chorus has been called “near-flawless” (Asbury Park Press), “alive and evocative” (The Star-Ledger) and “superior” (Red Bank Green). The Chorus is the proud recipient of the 2008 ASCAP/Chorus America Alice Parker Award, and the 2010 Spinnaker Award for Arts and Culture from the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce.
