Red Bank Man Indicted In Sexual Assault Of Minor

Eduardo Aparicio-Pena also is being held on an immigration detainer, according to courthouse records.

A Red Bank man has been indicted on charges he sexually assaulted a minor.

Eduardo Aparicio-Pena, 23, of Cedar Street, was indicted this week, accused of second-degree sexual assault by having sexual contact with the child, who was under the age of 13 at the time, according to the indictment handed up by a Monmouth County grand jury.

The incidents occurred on several dates in November and December in Red Bank, according to the indictment.

He also was indicted on a count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child “by engaging in sexual conduct which would impair or debauch the morals of a child,” the indictment says.

He is being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $52,500 bail. He also has an Immigration and Customs detainer.
