2 People Charged With DWI This Week: Glen Rock Police
One man, a Glen Rock resident, was stopped on Belmont Road Friday night after running a stop sign, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Two people were charged with driving while intoxicated this week, police announce.
A Glen Rock man was arrested Friday night after a resident complained of a possible intoxicated driver on Belmont Road, said Chief Dean Ackermann.
Officer John Tarantino arrested Chintan Singh, 41. He was charged with DWI, careless driving, failure to possess a vehicle registration, and failure to possess proof of insurance, police said.

Singh was taken to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detoxification, the chief said.
A Haledon man was charged with DWI after a traffic stop on Maple Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, Ackermann said. Albruce Appesh, 29, of Haledon, was taken to police headquarters, charged, and released.

Appesh was issued summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, and disregard of a stop sign, Ackermann said.
