Andrea Bocelli Surprises Bergen Bride At Wedding: Report
Famed Italian tenor sang 'Sorridi amore vai,' from 'Life Is Beautiful."

A Mahwah bride got the surprise of her life when Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli surprised her at her wedding ceremony.
Michelle Walsh, 32, and her husband Ales Dolinar, waited for Rev. Kevin Gugliotta to end the wedding Mass at Church of the Immaculate Conception when Bocelli walked in.
“I’m still a little bit in shock,” Walsh told “Good Morning America” earlier this month. “It was the best wedding ever. We’re so blessed and we’re so happy that he was here to share it with us.”

Dolinar said he knew that Bocelli was coming.
“Keeping the secret was probably the worst part about getting married right now,” Dolinar said.

Only Dolinar, Gugliotta, the wedding photographer, and Lorraine Walsh, the bride’s mother, knew Bocelli would perform.
However, Mrs. Walsh couldn’t believe it herself at first. She said she wasn’t sure if the call notifying that Bocelli would stop by was genuine or not.
“Something in my gut told me this might be real,” Mrs. Walsh said. ”I knew it was coming up and I just wanted to focus on my daughter walking down the aisle.”
Those in the wedding party couldn’t quite believe Bocelli was standing in front of them.
“We thought it was an impersonator,” one bridesmaid said.
Bocelli sang ”Sorridi amore vai,” from the movie “Life Is Beautiful.”
Bocelli said he wishes the newly-married couple a long life together.
“I hope they are happy and that they have many days together,” Bocelli.
