Bergen County Courthouse Evacuated Tuesday
A "suspicious package" caused the building go be evacuated for about an hour.
The Bergen County courthouse was evacuated for about an hour Tuesday morning while authorities investigated a ”suspicious package” that was found on the property, authorities said.
The package was a bag that was left behind and has been subsequently accounted for, said Anthony Cureton, a spokesman with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office said.
The building was evacuated shortly before 10 a.m. to 10:54 a.m., said Cureton.

Cuerton said the package was found not to be dangerous but he did not know what it contained.
