Casting Local Young Actors for World War II Drama

A few more roles need to be cast for upcoming benefit performance of Maxwell Anderson's World War II drama for The Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus.

First Flight seeks a few more young actors for Maxwell Anderson's play THE EVE OF ST. MARK. This one time staged reading of Anderson's play is a benefit for The Hermitage, a National Landmark House and Museum at 335 Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Afternoon rehearsals on April 13, 14, 20 and 27 and the performance in the evening on April 27 at 7:30pm will be at The Hermitage. Actors cast must attend at least two rehearsals including the afternoon rehearsal on April 27. First Flight is hoping to find young male actors who are attending nearby high schools or colleges who will be interested in reading the young soldier roles still needed to be cast. Young actors interested should email First Flight at firstflight2018@gmail.com.

THE EVE OF ST. MARK tells the tale of a young man, Quizz West and other young soldiers, conscripted into the armed forces at the start of WWII who have been shipped to the Philippines and the harsh decisions these soldiers are faced with while being so far from home.

There is no pay but some travel reimbursement will be provided.
