Former Softball Coach Charged With 90 Counts Of Harassment, Sexual Touching Appears In Court

Kurt Ludwigsen, 43, is accused of touching former players' buttocks and breasts.

A Ridgewood man and Nyack College softball coach charged with more than 90 counts of harassment and forcible sexual touching appeared in South Nyack court Monday for a hearing.

Kurt Ludwigsen, 43, was arrested last month after 13 former female players allege he engaged in inappropriate behavior with them between last October and March. They’re accusing Ludwigsen of inappropriately touching their breasts and buttocks and kissing them. He has pleaded not guilty on all counts.

Ludwigsen, a married father of two children, did not speak while in court Monday, NorthJersey.com reported.

Petaluman, California police investigated allegations stemming from other potential victims from a softball team Ludwigsen formerly coached.

Detectives has difficulty determining the exact location of the alleged crimes, authorities said, and that the statute of limitations had run out on the accusations, the website reported.

Ludwigsen’s next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 3.
