Hackensack Man Escorted From Glen Rock Library: GRPD Blotter

After refusing to comply to the patron's code of conduct, and making others "uncomfortable," police escorted the man off the premises.

9:19 a.m. – Patrols were dispatched to the Glen Rock Public Library concerning an individual who refused to comply with the patrons’ code of conduct and was making other patrons uncomfortable due to his actions. The subject, a 48-year-old Hackensack man, was escorted from the premises at the request of the Library Director.

3:08 p.m. – A Glen Rock woman reported that her dog was bitten n while running in the fenced in area of the Glen Rock Dog Park. She transported her dog to a veterinarian for treatment but neglected to obtain information concerning the other dog and its owner. As the incident had occurred in the past, they were no longer present. The matter has been referred to TYCO Animal Control. Incidents of this nature are investigated by Animal Control in cooperation with Bergen County Health Services.

8:03 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to a storage facility on Broad Street to check on the welfare of an apparent homeless woman found inside the common access area by a patron. Officers located a 57-year-old Ridgewood woman who was found to be in an intoxicated state. The woman, who was found to be the legitimate renter of a storage space, stated she was waiting inside to pay her monthly rent. She subsequently requested assistance from the officers to be transported to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detox. EMS was dispatched to the scene to aid the woman and transport her to the hospital.
