Lt. Gov. To Kick Off Rock Your Socks Campaign At Ridgewood HS Thursday
Students are encouraged to donate new socks for Covenant House, a shelter that provides assistance to men and women 18 to 21.

A statewide effort to help needy young adults will kick off Thursday at Ridgewood High School.
The Rock Your Socks campaign is designed to encourage people to donate socks to the Covenant House, a homeless shelter that provides food, shelter, and other services to homeless, runaway, and trafficked young adults 18 to 21 years old.
Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno will be at Ridgewood High School Thursday at 1:45 p.m. to kick off the campaign there. She, and a representative from Covenant House, will speak to students about civic duty and volunteerism.

Ridgewood students are encouraged to donate 1,700 new pairs of socks. Cherry Hill West High School and Ocean Township High School are also participating in the campaign.
