Brush Fire Spread To Glen Rock House Wednesday Afternoon
Firefighters and police officers worked together to extinguish the fire, officials said.
GLEN ROCK, N.J. - Firefighters extinguished a brush fire that spread to a Bergen Street house at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The fire department extinguished the bulk of the fire and other Glen Rock firefighters and police officers checked to ensure the fire did not spread, fire officials said.
Engine 831 and Ladder 832 responded to the fire. The Hawthorne Fire Department also responded to the scene.

Brush fires have been reported throughout North Jersey this week. The National Weather Service issued a brush fire alert for the state yesterday.
