Newark Man Dies In Bergen County Crash: State Police
A 34-year-old Newark man died in a one-car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Ridgefield Park Sunday morning.
RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ — A Newark man is dead after a one-car crash on the New Jersey State Turnpike early Sunday morning.
Jose Minaya, 34, of Newark, was driving south on the turnpike in Ridgefield Park when his car "struck the center concrete barrier before striking the right guardrail and overturning," New Jersey State Police said. Troopers responded to the scene at 7:17 a.m.
No other vehicles were involved, and the crash remains under investigation, State Police said.
