Ridgewood Police: Don't Contact Us About Leaf Violations
Leaf ordinance violations are issued by the building department's code enforcement officer.
The Ridgewood Police Department has received several inquiries from residents who were issued ordinances for violating the village’s leaf ordinance.
The police department does not issue the summonses, the building department’s code enforcement officer does.
Residents may contact the municipal court at 201-670-5500, ext. 501 if they wish to plead not guilty.
