Saddle, Ramapo Rivers Flood In Bergen County: See Current Stage, Closed Roads
A flood warning was extended in Bergen County Wednesday as several rivers rose above flood stage. Another storm is coming Friday.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The Saddle River rose nearly five feet above flood stage during the rains Tuesday into Wednesday, and another storm is on the way for late Friday, forecasts say.
A flood warning in Bergen County continues until 1 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11.
At least 10 roads in Ridgewood were closed early Wednesday morning (see list).

The Saddle River rose to 10.24 feet early Wednesday. Flood stage is 5.5. Major flooding is 8 feet or more.

The Ramapo River rose to 13.5 feet, two feet over flood stage.
Rainfall reports from NWS spotters said Mahwah got the most rain, a little over 1.8 inches.
The NWS predicts that another 1-2 inches of rain may fall late Friday night.
