Teens Flee As Police Break Up Glen Rock House Party: Authorities

The party was held at an Indian Road townhouse, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police from three local departments broke up a house party several teenagers were at Saturday night, authorities said.

Police responded to several disturbances near the Indian Road townhouses near Harristown Road and Rodney Street at 8:24 p.m. Saturday, said Chief Dean Ackermann.

An unsupervised house party was going on at one of the townhouses and spread through the area, the chief said.

Several juveniles fled the area in multiple directions when police arrived, Ackermann said.

Officers from Glen Rock, Ridgewood and Fair Lawn spent two hours restoring order in the area.

Glen Rock detectives and a juvenile police officer will follow up on the incident.
